A Big Canadian Hello!
« on: September 23, 2010, 23:00:57 »
Hi Playmofriends!

My name is Dinobuzz and I'm fairly new to the Playmobil world but not new to toy collecting! I've been reading this forum for a couple weeks and finally decided to join this wonderful group of friends!

I'm from Canada and my Playmobil collection....hummm....I mean, my daughter's collection  :P , is quite on the micro level compared to what some of you guys have! What got me started, was adding to my Dragon collection and searched to see what Lego & Playmobil had in the Dragon line. Then I scored some bags full of Playmobil at thrift stores, including the Take Along House with all of the accessories for $5.99! My daughter LOVED it so much and now wants the Grande Mansion (I already got her the small Victorian mansion/house put away for Christmas).

As I'm hunting for a good deal for this Mansion, I came across your site and have been hooked ever since! Now, when it comes to collecting, my first love is Dragons (only cute ones though!)...recently, I've added 4 Playmobil dragons (I have one at home, and the others are on their way, including the blue one!) and 2 Nessies....

Then comes, vintage My Little Ponies (1980's)..... in which I adore and have been collecting/restoring since 2007.

My Disney Cars collection has been on hold for now....running outta room!

Playmobil has now taken over, as I'm focusing on getting the kids' their sets for Christmas morning! My daughter loves the Victorian series and along with me, my son likes the castle/knights/dragons.

Well, I think I've babbled long enough and I should a check out what's been going on here today!  ;)

Welcome Dinobuzz from a rainy Netherlands.

So I was wondering why Dinobuzz and not Dragonbuzz?? (just kidding)

Collecting is so much fun, and you clearly seem to have the bug.

Do you have any Dungeons & Dragons Miniature Dragons?

Have fun here.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Richard~ I'm from Ontario...you're on the West Coast correct?

Gis~ I've had my user name for many years now and in the beginning, Dinosaurs where the thing at our house! I don't have any D&D dragons....I have Fisher Price (vintage & new), Dragonology, Krystonia, My Little Pony Dragons, and quite a few of plushie ones as well.

Tiermann, basilsdad, & tonguello~ I have a great feeling that I will enjoy myself here!

I'm always on the thrift hunt, so, if any of you guys are on the look out for something Playmobil or non-Playmobil, just PM me! I'm always hunting down MLP's (My Little Ponies) and see all kinds of stuff! I actually found a German MLP at our Value Village store...wonder how she got there?! LOL!
