I think it may be based on the headgear from tyhe operating theatre set.

Very good. I only wish they were for sale from Geobra.

You're welcome, Hoppatussa ...
Thanks for looking!
We need to start making some of these old and discontinued accessories. Maybe we could get some help from our Spanish friends.
They seem to be quite clever over at the Spanish forum (http://www.playclicks.com/noticias/foro/). Take a look ... CLICK HERE (http://www.playclicks.com/noticias/foro/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2784&highlight=malone) and then scroll down. You won't believe your eyes! ... :o :omg:

Gordon, I believe that one of the sets the arab "headgear" is from is set 3415 (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=331.msg4394#msg4394) ... (I think that they may call the arab headgear a "burnoose")
All the best and thanks for your interest and your very nice comments,
Richard

Hello, Kristian ...
Geobra bought some of Ralf's paintings (http://www.ralfgemein.de/seiten/johndoe.htm), so you never know. They just might also use some of his "Specials" ideas ... ;)
All the best,
Richard

You're right, Richard, both as to source of the part of its name.
Maybe the Arab part was the basis for the operaitng theatre headgear, then.

Thanks, Meg ...
No, I'm afraid I was being a bit dense ... :eh?:
When I saw the word "theatre," my brain? somehow connected it with Gordon being from the UK and that to me meant London which equaled Andrew Lloyd Webber, Starlight Express, Cats, etc.
(Perhaps I need to stop playing Freudian Word Association) ... :) And, then somehow I connected it all with the word "operating," which translated into something that actually works ... ???
So there you have it! A little Playmobil drama theatre, with little Klicky performers, that you can actually make work with little curtains and footlights, etc. Yes, sometimes I can be a little thick ... duh ... :-[
Thank you for your help, Meg! Lord knows I needed it that time ... 8}
All the best,
Richard

Thanks for the link - these customs are really nice and I especially like the artfully recreated packaging. One could really take these for unreleased novelties. 8-)

I only just picked this up today, but I see you now know the answer!
Two nations separated by a common language! ;D
