Some of my customised buildings in my city
« on: July 02, 2024, 10:48:51 »
Hello!
I love using playmobil buildings as the basis for my tiny city (loosely based on New York) but I also like to make them my own,
not sure if anyone would be interested but I have attached some photos anyway of some of the things I’ve done!
It’s amazing how much you can achieve with just a printer. I’ll be doing a lot more so will post if there’s any interest and let me know if you have any questions. I also have made a music video inside the tiny city and hope to make something much more elaborate in the future! I have found that using 1/24 scale cars really adds to the realism

Very nice - and so full of details! Pure eyecatchers! What's the building left of the police office made of?

Absolut klasse, tolle Blickfänge! Woraus ist das Gebäude links der Polizeiwache gebaut?

Ah thanks!! That’s actually a little block of flats I made with one of these https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/wooden-storage-box-35cm-x-25cm-x-17cm/6612691000.html ! I cut out window holes and added some floors inside! Not playmobil obviously but the right scale!

Great looking city. A much more realist vibe than typical Playmobil dioramas.

Thank you! Yes that’s actually what I love about playmobil - although being cartoonish the buildings are very realistic still!

These buildings are very impressive! Love the details like the posters, and your method seems like the best way to build up an urban area for a Playmobil diorama without breaking the bank  ;D
