P.S.: I watched two other dioramas for a long time - and also because of that, forgot to take pics... :-[ If anyone has photos from the fairy-tale-diorama (with a quiz to find out which fairy tales were there, great idea) and the amazing Noah-diorama with lots and lots of animal-pairs boarding (some great queues there, as you can imagine), please post some, I'd love to see that again.  :)

Luftgaengerin thank you so much for posting all these pictures. We yanks see news of fantastic European exhibitions in the news thread and but the stories never have more than two or three tiny pictures. These images are a feast!  :thanks:

Some really stunning work there. That colosseum is one of the best I've seen - the crowd is carefully assembled and not thrown together haphazardly.  :paddy: :paddy: :paddy: :paddy:

Amazing dios!

Love those first steck buildings, and the one with the upper floors in System X! :o

And those are impressive ones too! Though I find it odd that all the monks are fat with red hair :P

Those little bridges near the large asian klicky look awesome.

AMAZING roman dio! That fortress!!

Interesting detail: they seem to have made an aquila:

Would love to know how it was done.

Hi Macruran, I looked at the pics again and there seems to be a golden dove on the standard, I guess - is that what you meant? Here is the detail:

Thanks Luftgaengerin! Yes the aquila is the golden eagle that each legion carried as a standard. This person seems to have made one by painting a PM dove gold and gluing it on the normal standard. Or are there official gold doves? I'd like to know how they matched the color and how exactly they attached the dove to the standard.

I see two other modified standards in your picture - how were they done I wonder?  :roman: ???

You're right Macruran - but I have no idea how they were done, I didn't meet the talented person responsible for this diorama...
As far as Animobil magnificent website goes, there is no golden dove, so it must be painted (http://www.animobil.info/text/3e258fc-1260.html). And the standard behind the dove has this "thunderbolts"-thing that e.g. Zeus has on this hands, I guess. Those are originally golden.
