Pretty! I see they repainted a car.

ETA: Now going through the other pics, they did a lot of customs.

This diorama, was made from playmobil Hellas with the help of collectors in Greece.
Many collectors gave their Victorian sets from this project and between them I think that was Panos and Angelo. ;) I'm not sure if George gave something too.

George. :)

Amazing!  I love the different configurations of the 5300, 5301 and 5305s.   Such a lot of ingenuity and talent, just brilliant!  :)9  Thanks so much for the link.

Beautiful!
And it is a good thing that Geobra is since a while collaborating with collectors for diorama-displays in their Funparks  :)
(there are also diorama's by collectors in the Zirndorf Funpark in Germany)

Wolf Knight has participated in the lovely diorama and another greek collector who is not as far as i know in pf. i dont know if other participated .  i was meant to participate too but given my short time window to set up my own victorian diorama and photostories after a lot of thought i decided not to participate and focus in my own victorian diorama   :-\ :-\ :-\....

Bravo Sir Wolf for adding to this diorama , bravo sir !!! looks nice and looks good as you suggested to have houses opposite each other  ;)

so Panos gave the sets and Hellas made the dio? Did Panos make the customs or did Hellas?

There is a lot of stuff going on in there. It looks great and I like the road with houses on both sides

That's a really nice set up, but I'd be afraid someone would throw something into it or somehow damage it.

As Giorginetto said, Panos sent a Victorian house and another one collector from Athens made all this set-up with his collection and of course with the help from playmobil Hellas. The company here in Greece on facebook gave her thanks to Panos and to the other collector. Finally, only those two collectors gave their help for this project.
Here is a link on facebook from playmobil Hellas.

Maybe Panos can give to us some more info about that.

Friendly George.

That's a very impressive display and congratulations to Panos and the other Greek collector.  Congratulations, too, to Playmobil Hellas for supporting and encouraging ideas like this.

Hi all,

I only send one dollhouse, the only one I own, to be set up in this diorama. I prepared the house (fully furnished with loads of klickies), set everything with blue-tack up and drove it down to Athens in the mid of July. I did no customs, so I guess Denni Vagopoulos, the other collector who set up everything and lend the rest f the houses, did the customs as well. I also knowfor a fact he designed and printed a lot of wallpapers for the dollhouses!!!

The exhibition was organised by Playmobil Hellas, and it is part of a promotion event at the biggest shopping mall in Athens. The event and the exhibition will take place until the 1st of October. As I already said, I lend one house, and everything else, so far to my knowledge, was lend and set up by Denni. He did a really awesome work and actually cannot imagine how many hours it took him to complete it!!! Awesome job indeed!! The base/board and surface plus the protective plexiglass were provided and set up by Playmobil Hellas! I really thank them for allowing for this opportunity to be part of this great project!!!!

I'd wager that he's using that telescope to spot incoming meteors to vapourise them for the sake of the townsfolk. I think it's a cool touch to the display, especially for anyone who notices it!

easier location to cast your spells on unsuspecting klickies who pass by  :P

Kind of like the kid who hides in the bushes and torments pedestrians  ;D

He is not a wizard, he is a visitor from the Orient. In that house you can see the Indian Maharaja visiting the house of a British Lord for dinner.

In any case, there are various small klickies and actions that are out of place, just to spice things up!

Interesting! That sounds even cooler then, to have hidden things like that in the display! :)

I've been asked to show you the rest of the pictures taken from the Victorian diorama and also write the description of the photos. So here it is:

Guests of The Mall Athens Shpping Center can admire a unique creation from 7 September 2012 ! A whole city from Playmobil Dollhouses was put together, dollhouses from the 1900 Playmobil series. The Dollhouses are from the collection of Dennis Vagopoulos who also assembled them and set them up. PLAYMOBIL Hellas would like to thank Mr. Dennis Vagopoulos for the masterpiece he created, and Mr. Panagiotis Pantelis for the assistance of contributing his own dollhouse.

The word "assemble" is very little to describe, what D. Vagopoulos has set up at The Mall. Each dollhouse has its own story to tell with details that let viewers with an open mouth! Come with us on a journey into the past to admire these great centerpieces of decoration one by one!

The representation of the Victorian street was done with precision and with respect towards authentic and traditional PLAYMOBIL

The city has great mansions, a church, a school, a park and a City Hall.

In the school garden, children play in the playground!

One wonders, with such a playground, does anybody really study into the school?

Admiring one of the rooms at the rear. It is pleasant to observe the incredible detail, true to life in the Victorian era, early in the last century.

The classrooms are furnished with imaginative and graceful interventions!

Each room is decorated with different wallpaper.

A view of the old officer’s house! You can see the heirlooms brought back from his adventures in Africa, India, Latin America at the study, next to the secretary furniture.

The Cathedral, a very distinct creation!!

Our small city!

And the wedding reception. The lace veiled bride just arrived ...

The city park in front of City Hall

The family is moving. The workers are trying to load the piano in the back. It is not an easy job ...

You think that out of a room will come the "Little Princess" Sarah, one of  Miss Minchin's girls who had come from distant India.

I really liked the old attic with junk everywhere with spiders  :)9

When I first saw the pictures I did not think this was a "family on the move". For what ever reason I figured if they are dressed the way they were and using the back door alley they must be helping themselves to someone else's belongings, all under the noses of the guards
