Post by: bonniebeth on July 10, 2011, 01:40:50
Starting off with views of the box, back and front:

The plastic box for this set is the most beautiful shade of red!

Here is the cargo ship, all one piece:

The harbor crane came in two pieces, but I already put them together and they don't come apart easily. (Sorry the pic is  a bit dark)

There is a plastic string that attaches to the crane, with a magnet at one end so it can pick up cargo crates. (again, sorry for the shadows; I wasn't paying attention, I guess. :-[)

A view of the interior of the box, showing a footprint for the crane... in some cases, I wish they woud not do these footprints so there would be more flexibility in where to place things.

Quite a lot going on in the background here:

The set comes with two fork lifts with operators:

A harbor police boat:

And two other sets of workers:

The kids with this set are very cute, I love the little ship's captain with freckles!

And again, these children have magnetic feet, which I really like.

And an overall view of the set:

I just can't believe all the detail they have managed to cram into this tiny set! I feel like I've bought an entire theme!

I haven't even opened my set so this is a very useful review.  It strikes me as the best set of the lot.

Thanks for the detailed review and commentary, Bonnie.

I wish they'd do a fire and rescue micro set.

Oh yes, fire and rescue! That would be really cool, as well as police.
