Thanks for posting the pic & info here (I have´t checked THAT site in months).  :)
This specific shape of longcoat (the one that closes rather tightly near the chest) the klicky wears didn´t come in black before, so I would like to get him if he is around at a reasonable price.

Really? Thanks for the info...  I don't keep a close eye on coats  :-[

I thought he may have been among some I got sometime ago... but I am not sure...

Yep, I did... checked the neverending PROCESS/arrivals (all together in my version)

This specific shape of longcoat (...)

It looks to me like a run-of-the-mill long coat, the one that only looks nice on a fat clicky. They should have given him a tailcoat (like the butler's - or the equestrienne's - in Figures Series 11)!

Best wishes

Apologies for my uninformed comments. In fact, I believe there are currently 3 long coats around:

1. with collar (top row left)
2. without collar, tight around the neck (top row right)
3. with collar, ripped (bottom)

You were saying that type 2 did not yet exist in black, which I don't know.

I still believe the concert master would look better in a tailcoat.

Of type 1 (with lapels & collar), there was also an early version which was a bit longer in the front, but that one is no longer in production. It prevented klickies somewhat from sitting down on a seat or chair, so they made a newer version which ends in the front at the waist.

I´m 99,9% sure of it, I´m always on the lookout for new colour-/print-variations of type 2  for customising 18th-century figures.

I still believe the concert master would look better in a tailcoat.

Yes, a tailcoat would be more suited for such a musician. Personally I have less use for that one though.

Interesting. :thanks: Do you have a picture, or a set number, to illustrate this variant?

I think the captain from the 5135 pirates´ship released in 2011 was one of the first klickies with (such) a longcoat, and the first years it came with that longer version of the lapels & collar-type which almost reached a klicky´s "knees".
You can see him here on the box-backpicture of 5135 on playmodb;
https://playmodb.org//backs/5/5135_back.jpg

edit:
I just remembered I have a custom nearby on which I used that long version, so I  quickly took 2 pics.
(the figure represents a Jewish diamonds-trader from Antwerp)

Thank you very much. We now have 4 types of long coats. Any more, anyone? *

Very nice custom. Thanks for showing.

* Still contemplating a systematic description of figures parts. Non-removable wear like this should be included.
