I would like to show you my largest and longest lasting Playmobil diorama. It is a mega-sized cruise ship of 230 cm long and 120 cm high.
I designed and built the cruise ship myself with the well-known Playmobil building system called "system x". I covered a lot of the cruise ship with paper and fabric. The entire diorama is also equipped with light, so that it shines beautifully in the dark. In total, I spent more than a year and a half building this diorama. The entire cruise ship is fully equipped and has everything you need. There is a lot to experience for Playmobil visitors. I have therefore challenged myself to provide as many fun activities on the ship as possible. It was sometimes quite difficult because I have never seen a cruise ship in real life. I had to do a lot of research to find out exactly how a cruise ship works. The project was also not successful all at once, at one point I made the difficult decision that after almost a year of building it, I would tear the entire diorama down to the ground and start all over again. After I had dismantled the entire cruise ship, construction started again. At first I was really not happy with how the cruise ship was put together, it just wasn't right. It is also quite difficult to build a ship from a system that is not actually intended for that purpose at all. After more than half a year, the cruise ship is finally ready, and I'm quite happy with it!!!!
