The pyramid is a lot bigger than I would have expected, which is a good thing.  I just hope it will come with walls for all four sides.

I imagine it would come as it's shown with open access at the back for play purposes, like the Steck houses.

Hello, Justindo ...

Gordon's comment is probably correct:

I imagine it would come as it's shown with open access at the back for play purposes, like the Steck houses.

Let's just hope that Direct Service stocks enough extra walls for all of us !!!
And, that the walls are easily removed and replaced !!!
And. that they're not "permanently snapped" into place like so many of the new sets that we've recently seen from Playmobil !!!

All the best,
Richard

Hi, Richard!  I am sure you are quite right about this:

We should never underestimate Jimbo's wonderful wealth and breadth of knowledge ... ;)

but the "coincidence" that I was marvelling at is that the Playmobil pyramid dimensions hew so closely to the ancient standard.  I was wondering whether the Playmobil designers had the cubit in mind when they designed the pyramid.

Hmmm ... I was marveling at Jimbo's uncanny ability to see that the pyramid WAS about a cubit, rather than Playmobil's forethought to MAKE it a cubit ...

However, I remember reading once that the intelligence community (which may be an oxymoron) said that, "There's no such thing as a coincidence!" ...  :o

All the best,
Richard

You might be confusing them for the yoga loons I hung out with in college.

Hi Richard, and all,

It must have been that crisp salt air blowing through the fuselage a few feet off the wave tops that vitalizes the brain....and/or....25 years ago I made a scale model of the Israelites
Tabernacle.  It was one inch =one cubit.  I had cubits on the brain for a while 8}.

Shalom y'all,
Jimbo ;D

COUNTDOWN

The egypts arrive in the end of August! Not many days to go :D

Both I and the "guy" in the picture are (very) impatient :toot:
