Car tyre part number
« on: May 29, 2013, 21:36:54 »
Does anyone have the part number for the tyres from the 3069 economy car - the little pale green one.  One of mine is missing all four of its tyres.   ???

Thanks
Elaine

I have plans for another version of it which I'll check for you tomorrow, Elaine.  (You mean the green Smart car?)

Yes Gordon, that's the one.  I think it's also the same as the small fire chief's car.
Thanks in advance.

it looks like this part:
30-82-3880 Wheels and axle for car: http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/klicky.pl?partnum=30-82-3880

But can't find any number for the tire itself.

I can't find the ADAC set plans (which is worrying in!), but looking at the 4411 delivery van the wheels and axles look the same as for the little City car the part number Martin gives for the wheels and axle for your car also appear for the delivery van.  (again, there is no separate part number for the tyre.)   As the 4411 delivery van is basically the same as the pizza delivery van in the DS catalogue, you should be able to get a replacement form UK DS, but it will be axle, wheels and tyres.

I have 3069. Bought it MISB but I can't find the instructions in the binder where I usually store them.

Very possible I misplaced them, but it's also fairly likely the set didn't come with any in the first place. There are a few random sets which don't include any instructions where you would really expect to have them due to the quantity of parts. There's nothing that needs complicated constructing, so that could explain it.

It's not the tire, that is the entire axle+wheels+tires.

Thank you all for your help.
If need be I'll have to order the whole wheel/axles then, either that or display it as part of a garage workshop!
