I'm sure flesh-coloured hands only came in with the turnable hands so I think maybe hands are just very stiff.  Maybe wrapping them in cloth and then turning them with a pair of pliers is the solution.  I've found hands very stiff on one or two figures.

(c) 1974 on the base was in use long after that date, even into the present century I think where figures had the original style feet.

A real blast from the past! ;D

The figures come from set 3211, which was first released 20 years ago!

It appears to have been re-released in 2005, according to the info at Collectobil. :)

I always thought that 1988/05 meant it was released in May 1988  :-[

Anyway - what I had been wondering, extjmv, what were you expecting ???

Er, yeah. You must be right. I think I misread it, not you. :-[

I wonder if this set was released again through the DS after it was retired.
Seems very unusual that they would still have such old figures in stock. :eh?:
