News / Korean exclusive - King Sejong the Great
« Last post by Macruran on March 18, 2024, 00:12:44 »
By chance I autotranslated one of the Korean articles JLMatterer posted and saw a mention of a Korean exclusive, searching the Korean text gave me these images:

Appears to be King Sejong, considered one of the great leaders of Korea and the man who invented the unique Korean script!

Great, thanks! Love the closeups and the detail work. Really great stuff! Which customizer did your cornicen? I got a custom one too but it's totally different, yours looks pretty class (though I'd prefer it in a brass color). The vitis looks like 30 45 8550 - Riding crop. Me I use the stick from 4885 - Nativity Scene. Aquila is very cool and yes a spread wing one would be perfect.

I really should post my legion, I did previous versions but it's finished now and I've never shown the full thing  :-[

Lovely pics, but I'm going to have to request more closeups and details on your Romans. What are you using for a cornicen? Which set did you repurpose the vitis from? Can we see more detailed pics of your officers? Thanks in advance, signed, a fellow Roman fan   :lens: :roman: :roman: :roman: :roman:  :camera:

Yeah of course! Glad to meet another with such an interest! I'll try to get some better photos of each officer here soon. I based the order from the right to the left off of the youtube video "Roman Army Structure", starting from a Primus Ordine and going all the way up to Legatus. The Cornicen horns I ordered off of ebay from a custom parts seller, and they get the job done nicely. The Aquila is a cut spear with a perched and painted crow. To tell you the truth, I have absolutely no idea where I got the vitis from and they were just a lucky find in my collection. I assume they are some sort of cowboy rider item...? In the meantime, here are some much better photos of all my Romans, although it is not 100% up to date, I changed the Aquila quite recently.
