One less stout before the match seems to have aided Sir Seamus' focus.

Walking up to Sir Christopher I place a hand on his shoulder.

"You have done honorably. And though I be not your lord,
I beseech you quell your anger, so as not to dishonor your country.
Remember, you still have time to win your next match,
and you can once again test your strength against Sir Adler."

In this match in Group H we have Sir Christopher taking on Sir Seamus. The winner of this match will be assured of a slot in the next stage.

The first pass Sir Christopher misses the outside edge of Sir Seamus’ shield. His shield is however perfectly placed catch Sir Seamus’ lance.

Sir Christopher:  0 points
Sir Seamus: 1 point

On the next pass both combatants are able to get a shield hit, making the race still in Sir Seamus’ favour.

Sir Christopher: 1 point
Sir Seamus: 2 points

This time around it is Sir Christopher who manages to hit Sir Seamus on the shield, while Sir Seamus doesn’t manage to get his lance aligned properly in time.

Sir Christopher: 2 points
Sir Seamus: 2 points

On the last round Sir Christopher is unfortunately not able to make a successful attack, while Sir Seamus manages to get a full contact with his shield, ensuring Sir Seamus a place when the tournament continues.

Sir Christopher: 2 points (-1 PD)
Sir Seamus: 3 points (+1 PD)

The final match of the preliminary rounds is between The Red Dick and Sir Adler. Nothing is at stake in this match apart from The Red Dicks honour.

The Red Dick is not off to a good start, as his lance waivers to much to the right and misses Sir Adler’s shield. Sir Adler calmly hits The Red Dicks shield, going ahead in the match.

The Red Dick: 0 points
Sir Adler: 1 point

On the next run Sir Adler repeats his trick and scores another shield hit. The Red Dick is however able to go up and over Sir Adler’s shield and hits him full in the shoulder, almost unhorsing him.

The Red Dick: 2 points
Sir Adler: 2 points

Both champions are trying not to lose the fight on the next round. They both succeed missing their opponent completely.

The Red Dick: 2 points
Sir Adler: 2 points

On the last run The Red Dick is able to score his 3rd point by hitting Sir Adler on the shield. However he is unable to deal adequately with Sir Adler’s shield which hits him full on the helmet, resulting in him still losing the match.

The Red Dick: 3 points (-1 PD)
Sir Adler: 4 points, -1 honour (+1 PD)

Well jousted, Sir Seamus, Sir Christopher, and The Red Dick.  I am indeed honored to compete with such worthy opponents.  I trust there are no lingering ill feelings, Sir Christopher. :knight:

That, my friend, will be dealt with later. I'm not over with this felony, I'll just wait and see the results.  >:D For now though, I've decided to support Red Eye, he's my kind of fighter.
Go Red Eye! Go! :knight: :crossed:
