That's a wonderful and impressive harbor, Arizzo!  I can't imagine how much time that must have taken!  :o

you can even see more pics here ->

Customize it! Board: Port Royal

Last pic shows the makers:

to the left Don Lobo (Sascha) who made nearly all of the beautiful soldiers and ships (and without him, the harbour would have been real empty ....)

... and to the right you can see the architect of the harbour ....

(the chick in the middle is just someone we ran into at the Wolfsburg Convention  )

the stress of the harbour/diorama is the buildings and not so much the scenery ... (besides we ran out of time setting up the scenery ... :-[ )

enjoy

(and leave a feedback if you wish)
Cheers
Arizzo

Magnificent, Arizzo !!!

Thanks for the link to "Customize it" ... it helped to get a better idea of how big your harbour really is. It is HUGE!

There is so much to see. I think that I would have spent hours just walking around and looking at your incredible creation.

Thank you very much for sharing your photos.

BTW, your barn roof on the warehouse is brilliant!

Thanks again and all the best,
Richard

as far as I know, you need to have an account at Klickywelt to view the pics - but at Customize-It you should be able to see the pics without having an account ...

but of course we at Customize-It (and I guess also the guys from Klickywelt) would be honored, if you'd become a member, Richard  ;)

Everyone else is also welcomed, of course :D

edit:
btw: the measure of the diorama-area (build out of tables) is 7,20m x 4,40m - the harbour itself measures approximately 6,90m x 2,80m - at first I thought there is too much space covered with plain water, but the longer I looked at the diorama, the more I came to the conclusion that the huge expanse of water emphasizes the harbour as a real harbour ...

I'm working on it

I asked several people their Pictures from the fair

I have 3000 and more pics to sort out

I might take a while but I'll put them on my site for those who have no account on the German forums

One picture say's more then a thousand words ;)

Excellent custom scenery in all of the displays  :wow:! It brings to light some ideas for my modern Playmobil City Port & Harbor project in process using System X for the elevated crane docks!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!
