Hi all!I just bought the new "Saint Nicolas" figure-in Flemish he's called "Sinterklaas"-and I must say both figures,the Saint AND his loyal servant "zwarte Piet (black Pete)" look great!
I love them, and of course me having my birthday on the 6th of december gives even more meaning to these figures for me!
I posted a few pics, so you can see four yourselves! :)

No,in Belgium-in Germany the Saint will be wearing a long "skirt", so it's a pity he won't be able to ride his horse.

YAY, They finally arrived.
I will def be getting this...thanks for the review Erik.
BTW In the Netherlands we celebrate his birthday on the 5th of December instead of the 6th.

Its the first original long-coat which still let's the klicky sit on a horse.
Something like this I have only seen customized several times... ::)

I mentioned it earlier indeed showing people that it was coming up as an exclusive for the BE/NL markets.
I hadn't actually got one at the time though :-)

Great set- but probably we won't see it in the States- The whole St. Nick/Black Pete story isn't well known here-

Very cool. The colored klicky could be made into one great royal guard, with his striped outfit.

Hi,
I just picked up a complete display :D. This is one of the few modern sets I ever bought (normally I collect sets from the seventies, eighties and nineties and foreign licenses), because I love this little set. Why it took Playmobil more than 36 years before finally releasing a 'Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet' is beyond me (but better late than never 0)).

My family is of Dutch ancestry (among other things), so I knew of Zwarte Piet, and we had one that my dad cut out of wood and my mom painted. However, I live in the states. I would love to have one of these sets. What is the best way for me to get one? I've cheacked eBay and just come up with the regular Santa Claus sets we already get here.

It was supposed to come out 3 weeks later, but to the surprise of my local toyshop owner they received it 2 days ago. I guess Playmobil made a mistake.
