Yellow Herpa BMW, is it rare?
« on: February 06, 2011, 17:37:07 »
Yep, I found one. I see one every once in a while. But modern or cars is not my thing.

Now one was offered in the town where I live. And I know someone who would love one. (Crazy about BMW, nuts about playmo, birthday in april  :D)

So I bought it for 10 euro. In good condition, but not mint. It's yellow, so was sold in shops, not a BMW-dealer exclusive.

Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

There aren't many offered. Couldn't find one on ebay, only on amazon for 180 dollars!

Is this a rare item? Did I get a bargain?

Thanks, Wolf Knight!

Playmojager, yes it is. I think it is the original driver that came with the set. Still doing research. :-)

i never liked those herpa bmw cars - the colors were just horrible and they look nothing like playmo to me. However i think you got an increidible deal, even *i* would've loved to find one at that price, congrats :)

A few years ago, there were several of these BMW's (like Luis said, in different colours, quite flashy) that came with a Klicky as driver. So Herpa/Playmobil combined sets (German exclusives if I remember well). I think it's the original klicky you have...

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

yeah, it looks like the original fig to me too

I remember the controversy around the female klickies when these cars came out - they were flat chested ;D
