Very sad to hear that the situation has worsened to this degree. :(

I echo your thoughts, Michael.

That's a bit of a blow for the Playmobil online community, theres been a lot of good links to that site on here about whats new and photos of Playmo get togethers.

I would imagine most of the German speaking members will soon find another place of their own though.

starting from today, a movement of almost the complete german (and allied ;) ) portal-community started to
www.klickywelt.de

so there will be no significant loss in future information, maybe even again a slightly increase back to normal.  :yup:

 ???
do people in playmo-portal know this?
i can't understand a word of german but i could see that there are a lot of entries dating from tomorrow.
i went there to check the pictures on the new u.s. and nordsee pirate sets and everything seemed o.k..
i hope they can solve their problems.
if they can't, i hope they all decide to come this way (or at least the polite ones).

yeah, in fact they do know...
C&C, the original founders of playmo-portal decided to shut down their board with the end of this month. everything will be kept readable for the first, but it will not be possible to post anything knew.

They officially announced bennain as founder for playmo-portals new follow-up, but they decided to make a clear cut and to start with a new name as well.

I bet the nice ones will be there... I heard rumors that even more nice ones will be joining up again... ;)

so, all in all it was a good developement as the german community might be reunited under this new roof. ;)

best,
socrates

P.S.: @cachalote don't worry, there are many german speaking collectors who did not understand what exactly was going on during the last weeks as well. ;)

it would be so nice if a lot of playmo-portal members could join us.
 :wow:
they seem to get all the news first and they seem to posess a ring of spies inside geobra.
 ???
maybe the founders of this forum could produce some sort of a formal invitation that could be delivered through some of our members that are also members of play-clicks.

i bet they would be most welcome.

Hi cachalote...
Well, I think here language really is a barrier...
I spoke to several german members who ARE really interested in the international community but they definitely will always have a german board as their primary communication platform. I vistited the playmo-fairy in barcelona and I really like the spanish collectors that regulary join the german events, but still I am a registered but not an active member in the spanish boards as I really have to fight my way though the comments and stories...

So, as there are several members here are bridging between klickywelt and pfriends, not a single news will get lost anyway...  8-)

well socrates, language can really be a barrier - take the babel tower as an example.
i was kind of wishing that all the german friends could also speak english, since german is quite impossible for me to understand.
maybe we could all learn esperanto...
