Title: BB and his firemen
Post by: PrimusPilus on February 24, 2011, 00:59:47
Well, you know what's going to happen,.....I have 32x3880, fire engines 10x3526 fire engines, 2x3525 ladder trucks,.....& the list goes on & on! :-\

PLEASE post a pic of all that together. Then, when my wife comes after me with scalpel in hand, I can use your pic and say that I'm still well under control and should deserve (some) mercy.

I can't show everything together, but here are some of the collection.

I'm definitively bookmarking this thread (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/luwerner/gif/thumbs-up.gif)!
In the future it may mean the difference between sleeping in a warm bed at night or in the dog house.

BTW, do you have the HazMat set? I scored one (unboxed) on eBay this afternoon. Pricey, but it looks sooooo cool!

 :lol: :lol: But then maybe she will end up liking it too. Just make her look at the fireman contender in the hottest Playmohunk.....

Seriously though, we wouldn't want a horde of Playmobil?  ???

Ok, I'll go cry in the corner now.

I try not to think about it. If I do, I'll never get that 4820, or the 4821.

It borders on insanity, really! I have attempted to duplicate actual fire stations in what we call 2 districts having 10 fire stations total, mirrored with duplicate apparatus. Then I came up with the the plan to do a separate fire department for the Playmobil City International Airport Fire Department hence all of of the 3526 & 3525 series customs & originals.  8}

At least Chris collects, too, so I don't have to argue with him over buying playmobil! We just argue over which sets to get.  :P

No way! I live in a small town, so my FD will be small ;).
One of each will be more then enough - I really don't have the "empire building" mentality when it comes to my hobbies.

This morning I showed one of Bill's pics to my wife ("Wanna see somebody who has a LOT of PM?"). I don't have any firemen yet but I'm a firm believer that you should always plan ahead when dealing with your wife. The first thing she asked was if he's married.

I don't know if Bill is married, but my wife now thinks that he has a wife and children and that his wife is enthusiastic about his collection. I was going to say very enthusiastic and supportive but I thought better and decided to not push it.

My wife is very entusiastic and supportive of my Playmobil Hobby and collection and was quite shocked when she saw my collection  ( or shall i say part of it)  the first time she saw it . She only gets annoyed when finding klickies in her car, shoes, bags , high heals, kitchen ( pots, mugs, freezer etc etc ), coats and clothes, under the pillow etc , an annoying thingie I always do and will continue to do so ...  :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

If you need more defenses about collecting, look at my topic My Playmoshed . It will give you an excuse to say,.....Hey, I could be worse, darling! ;)
