Continuing on with my farm reviews here is the dog set.
It has the basics with a dog house, leash, bone, dish as accessories

Here is the dog compared with two other similar styles. It is much bigger than many in the past have been. I think this looks forward to the breeds sets that will be coming out this next year.

Here are the puppies. Also new molds these are a little more curvy than the last ones as you see here.

I don't know what the great dane is going to do for a house, maybe he will just use the people one :)
Overall I like this set pretty well. The new dog is a good one I think. The puppies are ok but not any great improvement over the previous ones.

They sure look good, but I am not sure about the eyes... I preferd the dots in them, like the puppy you are showing in the comparison pic, Tim.

Am I the only one who finds it silly that the adult dog has a leash and the puppies don't? If they're old enough to be about, most puppies need a leash A LOT MORE than a (well behaved) adult dog.... (yes, I'm crazy, this ocurred to me on the bus on the way...)

The dotted eyes make these dogs/puppies look far more realistic and sweet. The bigger dog with the different colour in the eyes and nose , look like a ghost more scary than a sweet puppy should be , something the dotted eyes ensure i think. playmobil gets it so wrong with eyes in animals all the time !!!!! Most animals look so fake etc !!!!

I really like the new puppies, I think they are greatly improved over the old ones! And love the new dog, too. Thanks for the great review, Tim.

That's this one German Shorthair Pointer Brown (http://animobil.info/text/3e258fc-1928.html) It's been in 4 sets
There is a black version that has only been in a German exclusive set the 5004 Forest Mega Set. I just got him from DS ( Thanks Simon! ) and will get his photo up next update.

this chicken coop looks really smart shame really it cant be used with medieval era, i have an open shop that sells chickens and eggs in krull that could do really with a couple of this ( still free range eggs ...)

I like the big dog and I also like the fact that the puppies have eyes. I was going to mention before to you Tim that I had a mixture of bunnies in the recent Santa in the forest advent calendar - some had eyes and others didn't - very odd! The eyed ones were definitely very cute though and I feel the same way about these little puppies. I also immediately thought that the kennel looked like a chicken coop ;D. Thanks for the review.

awww yes !!!! one of my favourite dishes, depends who makes it offcourse ::) ::) i have tryed it from a few restaurants , and it's not good though, they don't even use eggs in it they put something else that makes it taste like eggs, >:( >:( >:( >:(

I never have tried it, but I've heard it's great if you find a place that makes it really authentic. Most of the Greek restaurants around here don't even have it. :(
