Maltese knights with box 5045

Hi

From this week there is the old Maltese knights
with a new box 5045 to buy in Malta  :D
The box looks very good

There are two versions.  The first was produced to mark when Valetta was European City of Culture I believe and this was printed on the back of the figure's cloak.  The second version was just the figure without the printing and was only available from the Malta Fun Park.

This is good news...

Because the box is flat in the photo and doesn't look like it has been 'built up', I wonder if the box is optional.... a bit like a gift bag that you pick up if you need it (ie if it's a souvenir) but that you leave if you are just interested in the figure.

It is very interesting to me  ???
