Playmobil spares UK
If you live in the UK and require spares you can now get them from Playmobil UK.
They are not available on there web site.
Send an email with the numbers you require to the customer service dept in the UK (service_uk@playmobil.de
They will then send you a quote.

Awesome news - I am very happy for you :)
-
OMG! 8}
-
T'is good news!
Now if things could only go thus in Canada! Playmobil's penchant for intranational shipping is a real creativity-killer. Might have to move to Europe!
-
That’s fantastic news to hear that.

Make sure you move to Germany, so you can join the 1st rate customers...
-
So do you have any more details Walt? For example, it used to be max 50 items and >£30 for free postage.
Thanks,
Steve.

Ordering by email list has no limit on numbers, AFAIK. £30 threshold for free shipping applied last year. Now- who knows? I have just sent an order for 200 items (I have been waiting since 15th March!) and I'm expecting to pay VAT on top.
Thanks for the info. Walts-Trains. The website still has the 'no spare parts' message, so I'm hoping to have got in before the rush, though delivery will no doubt take a few weeks...
-
I placed a small order (12 of one part) by email on Monday and had a quote by email on Tuesday, expected delivery time 7 to 10 days. The total was just over £32. I couldn't find any prices on the UK site so looked at the price in euros on the main site, and the price of £32 was more or less £1 = 1 euro.
I'll keep you informed.

I have had an exchange with my contact in Basildon and here, for what it's worth, is what he said (I'm not sure it adds much to the existing info on this thread):
It is possible to order replacement parts for the majority of Playmobil sets.
When you purchase an item you will find that an assembly sheet is supplied. On
this all of the parts have a 7 - 8 digit number. Replacements can be ordered
using these numbers.
Please send us a list of all the parts you require including the quantities and
your address details. We shall then send you a quote.
Instruction leaflets for all current Playmobil products are now available to
download on the Playmobil website under Customer Services and then Building
Instructions. www.playmobil.co.uk If they cannot be found on the website,
please provide the product code and your full postal address and we will send
you a copy in the post.
Off to work out my order now. Just a little bit excited :yippee:
-
I think if the part number is seven digits, you need to add zero at the end for the DS computer to accept it.
-
Playmobil say if the order is over £30 the postage is free.
Also try and keep the number of spares to under 50.

Switzerland and Austria are in the Common Reich too I believe, presumably Liechtenstein is also or maybe Robber Barons still control the passes there, I'm not sure.

My order arrived today.

I have just placed a large order of 50 different parts. I'll let you know how long that takes! ;D
-
I made a parts request on 7 July and have heard nothing. I have just resubmitted the request and suggested they please fulfill the first 50 lines. Let us see....
-
In the last 36 hours I've tried to check on the availability of a number of spare parts, both from old and current sets. Each time I have had the message "No building instructions found" (they haven't bothered to amend the website to take account of the building instructions link now also dealing with spare parts), which makes me wonder, Is Playmobil+ not operating again?
-
I had to search on playmobil.de, 'Ersatzteile finden', but a couple of the lines in my recent order were for items not found there. I was half-expecting Basildon to come back and say they weren't available but they've processed the order, so looking good!
-
Feeding back on parts not available can be a bit hit-and-miss. Near Christmas, they don't do it at all, but at other times it may just get overlooked. But hopefully you will get everything you ordered!
Good news for me; they had 'overlooked' my email of 7 July, but have now processed my order!
-
They've taken down the 'we cannot process spare parts orders' banner and replaced it with 'email with a spare parts request' - though I guess you'd have to go through one of the European sites to find out if it's available and an idea of the price, since the searching part of the UK website still appears to be gone.
