Title: PFD Water Rescue Equipment
Post by: FireChief on October 18, 2018, 01:55:16
Hello all,

I was asked by a member about PFD's water rescue capabilities. So here we go...

Rescue 3 is equipped with a small zodiac, mounted on the top of the rig. This boat (z-boat 33) is for use on small remote ponds or with ice rescue. The Rescue is also assigned z-boat 3, a larger zodiac, used on rivers or lakes. Basic water rescue equipment is carried on the Rescue.

Support 6 is another custom rig. This unit is assigned to Station 6 and is staffed by members of the Quint or Medic unit. The support carries the vast majority of the department's water rescue equipment as well as two diving sets and extra rope rescue equipment. Boats assigned to the support are primarily for swift water though can be used on the lake if needed. Z-Boat 6 and 66.

That's it for now. Enjoy.

- Ben

Great customs, Ben, and I like the way you store your appliances in those custom shelves in the background.

I assume that that the large blue boxes contain parts for future customs!   :)
