A windmill, our new project. :)
We used the holes on the round tower walls to adapt the "mechanism", which can be moved at the back. So, no Steck pieces were harmed during the making of this mill.
We hope you enjoy!

Wow! That's amazing! I so much love it. And the klickies and the beautiful background too.

That's gorgeous!
(now I want one :P )

What a fantastic custom, and what a creative use of the old pirate ship rigging!
Marvelous!

That's just brilliant Lufty! Is it set in Holland?
(The Mill on the Floss was a watermill, btw, on the river Floss. I am being very pedantic this week aren't I?)

Is there a reason I cannot see the windmill? Is it just me or are others having a similiar problem?

You'll probably need to access PF in a different web browser. I cannot see the windmill either, and am using Chrome (and btw haven't yet checked in a different app). This happens more often, depending on where the linked pictures are hosted – Tahra's contributions throw up the same hurdle for me.

Hi Graham, it's not meant to be anywhere but those Holland-like customs seemed appropriate to the scenery... :-[
You're absolutely right, I know it's neither a watermill nor on a river, but whenever I say/write "mill" my thoughts follow immediately to "The Mill on the Floss", I can't help it (....hence the " ;) " at the end of the title :-[ )
Isn't it a beautiful - sad but oh so beautiful - book?

Wonderful custom work. I ordered a couple of those cone tips just in case, maybe I will have to try one of these some time.

I am absolutely stunned by how ingenious this is – the end result is flawless. :wow: Looking forward to more vignettes incorporating the mill!
