Ex-store displays seem a good way of getting recent PM sets at a reasonable price. Ready-assembled, ready-stickered, un-played with, hopefully complete! I only ever bought one ex-display item (on eBay). That was a camper van with the remnants of glue from a glue-gun on the wheels, not too easy to remove but I managed in the end.

I asked her how many - she gave me a weary look and said, "I lost count." I gave her a thumbs up & said I'd be buying one every 2 weeks. These could be anything going back to about 15 years. I have many months of surprises ahead.

She also has the 2021 Zoo display on hold for me.

You definitely need a marquee, or an agricultural building (barn) to set all these up! Or an extension (you could claim you need a dining room)!

This is a City Life Vacation display from 2019. It came with these sets: 70087 Large Campground, 70088 Family Camper, 70089 Family Camping Trip, 70090 Water Sports Lesson, & 70091 Speedboat with Tube Riders.
