Just picked this up at the local Learning Express toy store.

Pic is blurry but this is the holding cell.

One of my favorite things is this Armory compartment. You can make this into another holding cell if you want.

I love the new knee high armor on the middle soldier as well as the new helmet on the right soldier!

Although i like the figures i cannot say the same with this catapult...i've assembled it after two months i bought it....Its silly due to its difference in scale with the towers of dragon land....
-
I'm not sure what i will do with this catapult because I don't think I will be getting the castles that go with this theme. I do think it's cool though.

I feel much the same. I like the figures and the shields, but the catapult is just ridiculous. I've avoided this set because I don't want to spend the $$$ on an ugly hunk of plastic I won't use.

Thanks for the review, Elric. I do like a few of the parts, but overall this set, in fact the Dragon Knight theme as a whole, is not my cup of tea. I can, however, certainly see how many would like this set and theme.

Great review!
Thanks for all the awsome pictures. :)
The catapult would be a great LOTR battle piece thought!
Just think... use it when making the scene attacking Minas Tirith! ;D

Hi Elric,
Many thanks for this pictures and review of this set -- very nice!
Like others who have posted, I, too, like some of the individual Klickies and accessories, but the set as a whole, and the catapult itself in particular, really don't appeal.
I got some of the oval shields as well as some of the Klickies, helmets and horse crinet/chamfrons (head armour) to do some customising, but I ordered those from Direct Service, not buying the whole set.
But I also agree with the suggestion that this would work well as 'heavy artillery' in an overtly fantasy set-up. Which is kinda the point, isn't it?
Cheers,
AndrewL

Hey Playmo1989, it cost 40 us dollars. One thing about this thing is you can launch those rocks over 5 feet.:)
