3915 police bike

Here are 3 pictures. The first is the 3915 Police motorcycle. The other pictures are 2x 3986 police motorcycles.
They seem to be the same, HOWEVER the right hand motorcycle has a much lighter blue livery then the left one.
The frame is the same dark colour, only the livery on the body is different.
I have about 8 or 9 of these motorcycles, and 2 are lighter then the others.
Doe anybody know why or how? Is there a difference in one of the sets? Or would this be the 7681 rerelease through DS?
Sofar, i have seen this bike produced in the following sets:
3986
3915
4157 (advent)
4086 (megaset)
7681
I have the first three MISB, but they are all dark-coloured blue ones. The latter 2 i don't know.
Anyone?

Actually I did remember to go look through my bikes the other day and I only have the darker version. The text font on them looks slightly different to me as well as the color from your pictures?
It may just be a variant over time and not specific to a product number.

I have four of these 3915 bikes and all the dark colour. I prefer them to the later version with the working light and wish that it had been usable with these older bikes. Before the working light version came out, I made two custom versions of the 3915. Here are some photos. The first shows front and rear of one version, the second the rear of the other custom (the front was the same) and then a side view which was the same for both versions.
The riders were also customs using parts from the police roadblock set and from the blue overalled fireman in the 3882 set.

the darker version text does look more slanted then the lighter one.
