Those are great. Definitely the helmet if you're going for film Gimli, I don't recall his description in the books. Where does Frodo's sword come from?

Frodo’s sword comes from a lot that I won on eBay. It was mixed with some other toys so I’m not sure exactly what toy line it is but it fit perfectly with playmobil. Makes a great sting!

Thanks Klicky Ghost, I adore the old catalogues. As a child they sparked my imagination with all the different scenes and the backgrounds. I try to recreate that to the best of my ability. Yes the ranger took quite a while to get just right. Thanks for the kind words ☺️

The bedroll is from the U.S. cavalry set 3811 and the book bag from the Heidi schoolroom set 70256. I used a small amount of sticky tack as an adhesive.

Though I would not put brows at all on him, and certainly not black... why did you choose that particular head?

Thanks tahra, yes I did have to cut the big loop in the back to fit the cape on. Legolas has a lot of parts back there, the strap, the collar piece, the cape AND the long hair :lol: :lol:
As for the eyebrows, I don’t know I tried several heads before settling on that one. I like it. To me they aren’t bad guy or evil eyebrows as much as they are serious or fierce warrior eyebrows.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but I wanted to say how much I enjoyed both your photos & customs, they're wonderful & so evocative! I have a friend who is more of a fan than myself (her parents even gave her a middle name after a character) & will have to show her too, I think she'll love them.
