There is a German TV series set in Berlin in the 1920s. My customs are not based on the real characters of the series, but I tried to get the general vibe. Downton Abbey, Midnight in Paris, The Great Gatsby were also inspirational.

Very nice - I especially like the woman from the couple in black, in the first post
-
Fun - great use of pieces from many different themes!

Great series!
In one of the “mystery sets” there was a clicky with a Thompson sub-machine gun that would be perfect for the Chicago mobsters of this time period.
Prohibition in the United States created speakeasies and the FBI. Playmobil’s “old time” trucks and automobiles would fit in nicely with this theme. And, the fairly new flying helmet would fit nicely on a pilot for the Playmobil biplane.
Ralf, you continue to amaze us with you creativity!
Thank you!

Very chic👍

Great mix of parts!
If you build a whole scene, take a look at the Ghostbuster Firehouse. I am going from memory, and it may not fit, but the block and brick seem period to me.....

Oh this speaks to my heart, I LOVE this era of fashion! ;D You did a great job with this. How did you make the furs?
-
More genius-level work from specialist.

Thanks for all your your kind words. I have a lot of ideas how to expand the series (Art-Deco-System-X-Cinema?) but I have to gather parts for that at first.
@Janilew: the dark fur comes from a dragons set, the lighter one comes with one of the new pirates.

Not as dark as "Babylon" feels but the "Jazz Age" had garden parties as well.

Oh my word!!
I missed this thread earlier, but I am in love
I wish there could be a whole Babylon Berlin dio with these clickies!
Absolutely gorgeous ;)

Ralf,
You continue to create a really wonderful theme from a period that Playmobil has pretty much ignored
I made an earlier comment about this historical era and how it affected those years between the two World Wars and the time of "prohibition" in America.
In the United States the gangsters had become the anti-heroes. They (and their "ladies") wore many of the costumes in your theme.
NOTE: When Mattel had the license from Playmobil, they created some police sets that could be easily converted into Chicago cops.
Attached a photo of the famous eight corner police officer's cap (from Mattel/Playmobil) that was worn around this time.
Ralf, Thanks for sharing your fantastic imagination with us.

Wonderful klickys, just need some art deco decor to go with them.

These are all so good, great depiction of the era. You've really managed to get the mood of the clothing styles.
