Hello again and thank you to everyone for such a warm welcome!

Haha, seems like some people here might actually have to keep the kids away from their sets! I totally get it, these klickys hold in themselves a sort of utopian niceness that just cheers one up.

Most of my classic sets are at my parents place in Italy, so I won't have access to those until the summer. I do have in London my first Playmo car (3210) with the grey wheels (I also have the later version with white wheels as part of set 3152.

Today I bought a couple of semi-classics: 3147, used but still in box and with instructions, only a few small bits missing:

and 3218, got lucky with this one as its new in box.

I'll try and start with some pics of the above and see how it goes (any reccomendations for hosting sites?).

Three nice sets, though I only have the blue car. I reviewed all the old cars of that style here.

I use postimages because it's free and easy to use. I used to use photobucket (as in that review), but even though I had a subscription, they stopped allowing posts to online forums like this one, so I ditched them.
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

LOL - that was also my first Playmobil car; it was given to me by my Grandmother as a birthday gift. I loved that blue car ...

I might still have it somewhere. Should look for it.

All the best,
Mark

Hello Riccardo!

Welcome from Germany! I also had this blue car (may be still lying around broken in my mother's basement) but I don't remember the red racing car. I did have two racing cars in the very same shape but in white colour. I'm afraid they're lost but I raced many laps with them.
