Great story pics. It reminds me of Safety Day. Once a year here there is a county safety day where all the emergency services show up at a park with equipment and interact with the public. It's particularly for kids with the Sheriff's office water SAR giving away kid sized life jackets.
They have at least 2 local fire and police departments, county Sheriff, Sheriff's SAR and Mounted Posse, local and regional HAZMAT, bomb squad, and a life-flight helicopter. Usually some  antique equipment too and demos of equipment and fire suppression.
