My Preparation Board

I came back home yesterday afternoon and took a few pictures of my "preparation board" as I call it, including the extension which gives me an extra working surface of 90cm x 70cm  ;)...

WOW a behind the scenes look. I always love it when they do it in movies and now we even get it here. Thanks for that Karim *smile*

Thank you dear friends for your encouraging comments

As I am mid-way now through this project, I would like to thank the person who inspired me to create my very first Victorian tale back in 2009 after looking at her wonderful and very imaginative dioramas : Meermaid from the German site Klickywelt.de.

Her diorama on the Christmas theme called "Christmas Market under the Snow" was nothing short of enchanting I first looked at it and it still is

And here are a few pictures of my Victorian tale, inspired by Meermaid :

I truly love your colour pallette, Karim!

What I love about these pictures (and about others' pictures as well) is that it allows us to see beauty as seen or imagined through someone else's eyes.  That is truly art.

Admittedly I have been mainly a pirates themed playmofan, but thanks to you (who yourself was inspired by someone else's victorian theme), I now must save up for some victorian pieces because I am inspired to try my hand at it as well.

Thank you so much for your sharing!  Absolutely wonderful!
