Hi there! Yesterday I found the set 5040 in the toy store.. probably a Holland's exclusive
pic 1: Looks good! The torsos are all different and so are the gloves, hats, collars and shoulder caps
pic 2: the contents
pic 3: actually, it's a pretty big box for what it contains...
pic 4: Very nice, lots of useful parts. Ethnic heads with red lips: can be used for women! Hey, after a closer look I see
the 'Hoofdpiet' (the leader, Santa's right hand, the one with the cape) has no buckles on his shoes (on the box
he does!)
Very nice set with beautiful parts. I paid E 9,99 for it. Can people outside the Netherlands buy it on DS?
Kind Regards, Lynx

Looks like a cool set! I doubt we will get it here because it's presumably some cultural reference we don't have here.
-
Just checked out Playmobil.nl, (dutch site) and it is available at DS already. For E 8.99 (probably taxes not included).

Those are some great klickies, and I want those hats!
-
Yes, really nice ;)
-
WANT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is anyone in The Netherlands going to offer an co-op for everyone? :-[ :-[ :-[
Someone had offered me in the past through PM but I forgot who.... so sorry!! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
Please write back ;D

Yes, Hadoque already reminded me it's a Benelux exclusive, not just Dutch exclusive.
Have you seen is Willem van Oranje yet in the customs gallery (with a nice history class from us both?)
Greetz from that other diamond city... ;)

That must be New York or Amsterdam. :)
Just checked out the Oranje custom. Impressive use of these clickies.

Amsterdam, New York used to be New Amsterdam so you can say both answers are right

Has anyone seen these in Belgium yet? I've been to Bart Smit, Maxi Toys etc but they didn't have them.

I think so, Hadoque has them already but he might ordered them at DS.
-
DS probably. I went to Bart Smit again today, and all they had was last year's Santa + boat set on sale.
-
Yes, I bought a batch at DS some weeks ago, but they're available at belgian Dreamland-toystores too now, I've seen them in one past Monday.
-
Never heard of Dreamland. Is it a chain?
-
yes, there are stores all over Flanders and it has a webshop as well...

Mmm. Thanks. It says it's part of the colruyt group. Wonder if my local colruyt will start stocking it soon, too.

We saw the new sets in Bart Smit in Antwerp, so I'm sure they'll arrive pretty soon in a store near you.
I sound like a commercial

Bart Smit doesn't seem to be doing too well lately. The shop just off the Grand Place closed down, leaving only the one in City 2 open in central Brussels. Not that I am surprised. Their prices are always higher than - say - Maxi Toys, especially Lego. Today they had a 40 anniversary sale or something, but the prices were still too high to convince me to buy anything. Then again, this week I spent a couple of days in Luxembourg, and found a toy shop that sells PM as cheap as Malta, and even cheaper in some cases. The new union fort was 89 euro. I bought it for 99!

I asked the German 'Direct Services' if I could buy this set through them, but they said no :'( Looks like Ebay again:-\
