At least you can dismantle these ones. With the newer sets it's a bit more problematic.

Yesterday I also received the Egyptian robbers' house as a belated birthday present. It's a really, really nice set and it can also be used for such things as Romans dioramas. I plan to use it for an eventual Jesus diorama - it can be his workshop or something.

Now that I think of it, since the roof can be removed, it could also be used a diorama for that chapter in the gospels, where they lower the sick man from the roof  ::)

OK! Many thanks - I was ruining my eyesight trying to strain enough to be able to see what was what. I have that part missing from the set I bought. It only ever appeared in two sets, according to PMDB. Hmmm.

This sword also appeatred in goldwith a different part number http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-22-4570. So its more like 5 sets that have it :-)

Gratzies on the 3666, they are really great!!!!! So why stop at one *wink*

The golden mercenary sword and the drawbridge chains are available from the DS. At least,  they were in France last year…

Heh heh what I mean to say that it's really really nice to be able to come in here and discuss the use of a gold sword in five PM sets ... you know, that sort of thing would not interest my wife  ::)
