Thank you for the close-up photos!

I had this set on my list of future buys, because I love all that fairy and magic-themed stuff. Now I'm not so sure that I will buy the whole set and might just order the figure separately through the DS instead. :-\

I'm disappointed with the "painted-on" water. I know it's not uncommon for Playmobil to use this method for landscape parts, but it would look so much nicer done in that slightly translucent plastic like they use on ponds and earlier waterfalls. I suppose that would increase the retail cost of the set, but I think it would be worth it.

It would also have been nicer if the fairy didn't look quite so similar to the Special 4676 from a few years ago. I am thankful that her dress is a different print, though! ;)

Hi Michael

I am not too fond of the whole ferries sets but I sure like a lot of the parts that come in them. With the hassles of ordering from DS I think I will end up just getting the whole sets from now on. I like the grass covered rocks in this set and a lot of other parts in it but I too wish they had used the clear water.

Thanks for the review and nice pictures
oh yes and I love your Villain Fairy  :)9

Thanks for the review, I agree about the water but otherwise it is a lovely set.  I especially love the dragonfly.... and your fairy villain.

I might get this for the waterfall, despite it being painted water. I like the flowers too, but I feel I need Sven to advise me on the best methods of nurturing and cultivation.

The single piece fairy wings are nice, and of course the dragonfly is a great addition. An interesting set.

I like the one piece wings.  How do they attach?  Is there a hole in her back that they snap into?

I love the dragonfly.  I will need a swarm of them!

I realized I hadn't mentioned your custom Michael, it's fantastic. It's one of the best you've done I think.

Thank you

This is also thanks to MamaDragon
The black wings only are in a US set available
I believe that the new special has black wings but they are not on the market yet here

Thanks for the number Michael.

That's a System X hole. You could connect her to the sides of buildings.

I just noticed something interesting... it looks like the top half of her dress is slightly raised from her skin, as though the 2 different colour plastics have been molded together, rather than painted on the way they usually do with dresses. I like that! :D

The hole in the back is a little disconcerting but it means the new fairies can wear necklaces since they don't have to lug around those slightly cumbersome wing holders.  ;D
