Here he is, in my messy bedroom. He is ENORMOUS but very light; he can be picked up with 1 hand. The head is removable, as are the arms. The arms are attached to the body with wing nuts which allows them to  move.

The previous owner is a LEGO collector who bought the PM figure from his toy store for his grandkids, but now needs the room for more LEGO. He was $200, & is in excellent condition. I can't quite yet believe that I have him.

Another big box from Deluxe Toy & Hobby; it is the new Mermaids full-size window display. It was $100 & contains the sets 70094, 70095, 70099, 70096, & 70098. The instruction sheet shows what it looks like once put together.

I wish we had a toy shop I could cultivate, but there isn't one that stocks a decent amount of PM within 50 miles now. Not that the shops are open at the moment.

It looks as if Deluxe Toy & Hobby has never set it up, which raises the question: do they get these promotional displays for free with their orders, or do they order and purchase them intentionally? Do you know?

It was opened up enough to see what sets were included, so the store knew what to charge, but it wasn't emptied or put together. I suspect they get these displays for free, as they're a long-time dealer with a unique relationship with corporate PM. I don't mind paying for them, as I get a big discount & I want my local store to get good business from me.

The displays that they do use in the window are usually put on sale to the public after awhile, but they are offering the unopened ones only to me. I have 3 more waiting to open: Novelmore, Rescue, & Vacation.
