An entire section for customized Ships (and other vehicles?) Please? :D

In the german forums at funtastic plastic, their forums have a whole seperate section for customized Ships and other vehicles titled "Fahrzeuge/Schiffe"  (Vehicles/Ships).

I vote that we too create a seperate forum for vehicles/ships to differentiate from the current "customs gallery" which is populated mostly by custom klickies, interspersed loosely with custom vehicles/ships that seem to get buried by the much higher numbers of clicky customs.  For a vehicle/ship lover like myself (and I bet I'm not the only one), it would make it much more enjoyable to see all the ships and vehicles viewable in one place seperately from all the clicky customs.

We already have a seperate forum for train talk.... and within the custom's forum there is already a subdivision for custom Buildings.

Please can we have a seperate section for ships/vehicles?

if it isn't too much trouble I also think this would be a good idea as they don't particularly fit in with buildings or figures... i mean they are customs... but usually a LOT more involved Of course if it would be a hassle... then please don't worry about it

This is along the lines of what we did recently with the new separate board for dioramas and buildings. I think it's a good idea, too, as the customs gallery is so full topics get lost in there! I think additional categories are good. Sylvia, if you like the idea, I'm willing to do all the topic-transferring again.

Btw, rather than a whole new board, it could be just a sub-board to the customs gallery. Come to think of it, we could have done that with the dioramas/buildings board too. Still could change it I guess, and it would be easier to just transfer because we would be moving all the topics from that board rather than having to search and find topics to transfer. Just a thought.

what's the difference between a new board vs. a sub-board?  (Sorry, newbie terminology for me)

If you look at the forum index page, right underneath the how-to board is a sub-board for advanced customization techniques, so that's what a sub-board looks like. It's the only one we have right now. Of course, I don't know how sylvia feels about doing sub-boards as opposed to boards, so we'll have to see what she says.
