Title: Hi Everyone, I am New to Playmofriends

I joined last year but did begin until today!  I know some of you from the old PCC community.  I'm from Canada.  Though, thanks to the internet we can communicate globally.
I first began buying Playmobil back in 1980 when I saw these cute figures in small blue boxes on clearance at our new then to Canada Toys R Us store.  Bought them for my future possible kids.  First child came in 1983 and eventually they and their sibling loved Playmobil and we and their grandparents purchased a few nice sets over several years.
Eventually both kids grew up moved out and left their playmobil and have shown no interest so in 2016 I cleaned out their Playmobil, Lego and Star Wars totes and fell in love with the klikydom.  So I promptly took over the old 1980's & 1990's and began my new acquisitions.
I have to say that it will be nice to reacquaint myself with some of you.  I certainly loved Tahra's web site and Tiermann's, both have provided great info.  As well as this site where I picked up some very useful info on the Kardstadt gnomes, dwarves, etc.

I am from a small town northwest of Toronto, Ontario.

For my Canadian compatriots,  I have been across Canada from east to west.  Yes I have been in both Winnepeg(in summer) and BC, I have relatives in both Kewlowna and Vernon BC.

I love how you bought those sets for your future kids  :)  I was born in 1983 too, but my parents did not provide me with a collection from the get-go  :lol:
