I find it hard to believe that someone working for Playmobil gave him that response. :o

They even have noses for goodness sake! ::)

But I can see how easily someone who is not as familiar with the figures - a new collector, for example - could make that mistake.

wow, I would actually like to see some of those "superior" brand playsets in person.  Perhaps even buy them.  The Viking and Trojan horse sets are especially interesting.  I wonder if someone carries them online.

One i found claiming to be associated with Playmobil . There sure is some pretty ugly stuff on the market . I am sure though that a kid could care less if these were all there were to play with . I remember stories of my parents making their own figures out of sticks and cotton & they were the lucky ones .

I have a link about boybis from spanish toy company Jecsan. they are form 70's

Boy, I have enough trouble storing the figures I want to keep, I am glad I don't feel obliged to store the ugly ones also! :lol: :lol:
