Eplay:
In my local shop they have relocated the playmobil shelve. They used to have a 2 meter wide section.  Now they have 2 shelves with mostly the special plus sets.

I think Geobra employees do read this forum and other fan sites (one former employee of the company posts on here), but I suspect this is because they themselves are fans, rather than anything official. I agree with you that having toyshops with stocks of PM would help sales immensely, but 'high street' or even 'mall' shops are competing with online sales in all areas of retail. The canny ones have an online presence, but the decline in  'real' shops looks set to continue, sadly.

Unfortunately, you are not alone in noticing a great decrease in availability of Playmobil in stores. :(

I'm in Porto, Portugal. I can relate, playmobil is very difficult to find in stores here too.
