Dark grey sword & longer mace
« on: May 16, 2009, 09:18:22 »

Going through my spare weapons box, I discovered this one dark grey sword (far left), that doesn't appear to be on playmodb. Any ideas what set it came in, and what the part number is so I can order more?

I also spotted an overlarge mace, middle of the 3. Again, I only have the one, and no idea where it came from.

Hi Martin,

The dark grey sword comes from the Prince special 4547.

The extra bit on the mace has been added to longer polearms and flag poles recently as well.

If you have the last templar special 4670 you might find the extra bit on the flag pole even though the box image front and back shows the old type.

Garry.

Hm, I remember that there was a quite similiar issue with -- if I remember correctly -- some lances where the same additional "knob" has been added at the bottom after a while ... but can't remember where and when I read it (I think there was an explanation around why the change was made ... I think it was something about prodcution the pieces). Maybe anybody else have read this also and can remember better.

hi there

it is the roman pilum that comes in two versions:

a) without knob
b) with a knob

the one without the knob is the earlier version
