Victory - 4930 Pirate Ship
« on: March 06, 2011, 16:51:30 »
If your English, you might recognise the colour scheme of this ship is based on HMS Victory as I thought the black and yellow was a great combination of colours.

The original 4930 had a grey hull and red deck. This time I spray painted both parts and again hand painted all the extra little details.

I've added small gold decorations along the hull and on the cannon covers / doors.

The cabin windows I hand painted again with enamels highlighting the designs, including painting parts of the cabin.

Signal flags across the top - no I didn't spell anything just strung them together.

A fantastic creation, Emma! You've painted this once Fisher Price colored original into a formidable custom repaired reputation master piece! :)9

AMAZING!  :yippee:  :captain:
Again, I've seen simlar "HMS-Victory"-style customs based on the 3940 ship, but never with such an eye for detail! Wonderful!

Thanks very much everyone. Theses are relatively easy customs as they're only painted and decorated, I've not altered any of the original parts which makes it a lot easier to do, but very time consuming hand painting all the bits.
