New Squad/Rescue 3

Hello Everyone,

As you know, it has been a very long time since I have done anything with Playmobil. So with a big grin on my face I present to you the new and very much improved Playmobil Fire Department's heavy rescue unit.

This unit is based on a stock chassis from the 3265 ( Dump Truck ) and parts from the 4119 ( Rail Car )
I also used a years supply of ABS plastic to finally get it all right. So here it goes folks...


Squad 3 at its assigned Station, Station 4.

The squad responds to all structure fire, accidents with entrapment, rescues, hazmat incidents, etc.

The unit has all LED lighting and a Mobil Data Terminal in the cab.

The real difference between the old and new squads is that the extrication tools have been moved to the very bottom of the truck.

Alright I'm finished. Thanks for taking the time to view my new truck and I hope everyone likes it.

Just a little information about it. I started this project about 2 years ago, after I built the first one, and THANKS to Bill's photos ( got me back into the mix ) I got the truck done in about 2 weeks.  ;D

Excellent custom apparatus, Ben  :wow:! Very detailed project! I need to decide on two large heavy rescue units HR127, & HR227, but I'm having trouble deciding which Playmobil truck to start with  ???. Besides, these will be my first major custom project  :shhhh:.
