Yes, thanks for sharing! It's great to see all these old ads.

I think it's ok here, or maybe the playmobil common room....

 hello wesley myers,

:wow:thank you so much for all the pictures.

8} i confess i was confused with this add (see picture) and somehow thought that somewhere in the world playmobil had produced a gigantic fortress.
:-[ then i relized this was taken from a multi-brand catalogue and that only 2 of the pictures belong to playmobil.

:-[ i still amaze myself with the belief that there is always the possibility of knowing about an older and "exotic" set unknown to me.
it is rather strange because i am sure i know most of the pirate sets ever produced but i still have the hope of knowing a new one that somehow escaped all my investigations.
sometimes this actually happens - not in the "gigantic" scale but in a "tiny" one, like the u.k. all-white promotional set from the 80's.

 when i "met" sir pleamo's incredible work - http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=5760.0 - this feeling that a lot is possible grew much stronger.
 ... and knowing the 1st playmobil shop in europe - http://www.playmobilbutikken.no/arkiv.php - made me think on going into the catalogue collecting.
this would be another source just to be sure that "nothing" from the past misses me.

Thank you for the links!  The online catalogue collection is great!  I will have to add it to my 'favourites' and let my daughters look through this (after I'm done!).

The link to the System X designer wanted thread is a thread I had never read (the title maybe was a bit misleading to me and I thought it was asking for someone to design stuff).  I think that's great too.  That would be fun to play with.  Heck, seeing as though I have not had the time to read most of the threads on this site, I wonder how much fantastic stuff there is to discover yet.

Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!
