It's a good suggestion, but I also like the real map, is it a problem making two scenarios one totaly fantasy and one more historical ?

I think we should really make it a community effort! So I would prefer having everyone on the same map.

Put me down for a place on the fantasy map. I agree using the real map is too contentious and likely to cause bad feeling.

I agree. I like all the effort you all are putting into this!  :)9

Could we have a little of Georginetto's territory released for others? He seems to have grabbed a lot. I'd like the SE of England please, just the Home Counties, nothing spectacular.

I suppose that is fair.
Just the small tail right?
How about a bit of France? :)

Hmm, I guess what you say is true... :hmm:
I myself was beginning to think of using a fantasy map. :-[

Ok, I agree we should switch.
I like your map Tim,
But I would prefer a bigger one.
Ill see if I can find one myself.

I also like Gis' idea for selecting the map.
But the idea of everyone choosing their own topography
sounds like it would take a long time...
So Instead, why not I choose some mayjor topography,
like large mountain ranges, maybe a few large rivers,
and everyone else can work on the finer details?

Or am I getting too controlling. :-[

I think you are right...the more we have to choose the more complicated  will be. I think some basic topography would be necesary.

I think general topography would be helpful.
There's a cool world map generator using fractals at http://donjon.bin.sh/world/
It could be used as a place to start
