Title: 9358 – Pirate with Treasure Chest
Post by: drbatesy on July 07, 2021, 17:30:23
Our latest review (https://earlymodernplaymobil.wordpress.com/2021/07/05/9358/) is #9358, the Pirate with Treasure Chest. The klicky has some interesting features, such as the chest hair, but the colour scheme could be a lot more interesting, and I wish they'd equipped him with a spade. But the pirate with treasure combination is a winner in our view. A. is a big fan of treasure and along with getting into pirates in the last six to eight months she's also got into treasure hunts, leaving 'clues' around the house. After all, treasure hunting is a much more benign vocation for pirates (and children) than maritime robbery. Wouldn't you agree?

Nice review, as always..

And... I LIKE Vane - he grew on me, after a couple of false starts.. Though I prefer Flint.  :captain:

It's good to have some plainly dressed pirates. He hasn't had time to cash in his find yet.

I wonder if the lump of coins is a reaction to parents complaining about too many small parts.
