Title: Fi?ures Series 22 "Gladiator".
Post by: Erik on June 14, 2022, 18:37:03: A few pics of the "Gladiator" from the upcoming "Fi?ures Series 22".
For me the figure is one of the better looking gladiators Playmobil has produced, simple yet very effective, with strong colors. :)

I too was hoping that the helm and armour would be black when I first saw images of this figure.

I actually just got a few of these, and I can report that the pieces are actually black! :D I compared the existing parts (like the scalemail piece) next to the same black parts from other recent sets, and they appear to be identical. I also compared the helm to other existing black helms, and the colour appears to match.

The only other thing I'd like to mention is that I've found that some newer black parts are not as dark (or the shade of black is not as deep, if that makes sense) as some of the older ones. The newer parts also often do not have as much of a gloss appearance as some of the older ones. This is not very noticeable, but I do find the parts for this figure to be like the other newer black parts in this way.

Yes! I combined parts from two of them to change that.

This is a fantastic figure for parts. The black armour pieces are great!
