Hi
I have two vehicles with jibs - Mobile Crane Truck 3761 and Fire Truck Ladder unit 3879. Only one of these has the ratchet mechanism that holds the jib/ladder in the upright position. This is the black part that one presses to allow the ladder to go down. I have twice tried to get it from DS but have been sent the wrong part - another part of the mechanism.

Can anyone advise? Does anyone have a spare?

What part are you looking for? - the whole ratchet system, or just the button bit?

It is just the button bit. I think i have added the diagram from the instructions with the part ringed.

Ok I think I've got it

There should be 3 bits to the mechanism: 1 long bit that has the ratchet on, another bit that slides in front with the pin that catches onto the rathet, and then the button part to release the pin from the rathet.

That's the one. Have you got this as a spare or were you just confirming the part? If it is a spare what can I do to take it off your hands?
