... I think you should open the bag and display him with the other special klickies that you have in your cellar (http://www.gardenwargaming.com/armies/dhamer/surprise.html)! ;)
Hmmm ... Sylvia, I'm surprised that you didn't show everyone the photo that you took while (whilst) looking through David's cellar window ...

You mean the cheeky one? :D
I think David got a little tired of me making him the 'butt' of my jokes all the time. :-[
I decided to immortalise it forever as an e-card instead. :P See the last card in the 3rd row on the Other (http://www.playkingdoms.com/pk/cards/cards.asp) section . ;D (I can't give you a direct link to the page because of the way it's coded. :-\)

YES ... That's the one, Sylvia ... :)

Thanks and all the best,

David,
I never knew you had red hair

David,
I never knew you had red hair
The pic was based on one of his former avatar figure.
It was also made before I'd even seen photos of his cellar or the outside of his house, so I had no idea at all what it looked like.
edit: We strayed quite a way from the original topic, so I created a new one. ;)

I had fogotten that the earlier avatar had red hair
out of sight, out of mind
Sylvia, you were very quick in the splitting of this topic.
My response was orignally posted in the original thread.
I was very confused when it posted and made no sense whatsoever

Sorry, Meg. :-[
I'm getting rather adept at splitting, moving and re-naming topics .... perhaps a little to adept? >:D ;)
-
too adept at such a useful skill
no way.
You just should have spilt the topic before you replied to my original question. :P :-*

:toot:
Once I realised this I went back and left a link in the other topic, so hopefully no-one else will encounter the same difficulty. :-*
Two reasons to thrash you with a wet noodle :P
Go on then. Do your worst! :hehe:
If this keeps up I'll have to split the topic again! ;)
-
Well, I think Sylvia deserves a kudo for the pic () and David one for the pun! (;D)
-
I still have to wait to give out my newest kudos and wet noodles
:-X

There was a bit of a story behind this pic, so perhaps I should explain as I wouldn't want anyone to think David is usually in the habit of prancing about his cellar, clad only in a towel. 0)
A few years ago, David suddenly dropped out of contact due to PC problems. There was no warning of any kind, so we didn't know exactly what had happened to him. Richard became increasingly worried, until it got to the point where he felt he should phone David and find out if he was OK. Just so happens that David was taking a shower when Richard phoned so his wife answered the call. ;) She told him who was on the phone and, not wishing to waste precious time since it was an international call, he rushed to the phone dripping wet - or so he told us. :P
-
Funny story and even more funny picture
-
The funny thing is that I might have done the same if the DH told me that a David Hamer was on the phone.
-
LOL thanks for sharing this. That picture is hilarious. You guys really "crack" me up. :P
-
Thanks for the story Sylvia! Like Meg, I guess I would do the same thing. So in some "cracked" way this is tribute to friendship and kindness and ...I'll stop there. ;)
-
I'm very surprised that no one has made a comment about the actual photo of David's cellar window.
(To see it, just click on Sylvia's custom Playmobil image on the first page of this thread.)
If you strain your eyes just a bit, there seems to be someone in the same position in the actual photo as "the someone" in Sylvia's image. Could it be ... ???
Hmmm ... ^-^
-
Now Richard, there is no one showing there backside in that picture. :D
You got me all excited for nothing.
But I am envious of Davids basement workshop.
Wish I had such a nice basement. Wish my husband had such a clean, organized workshop.

Hmmm ... You must have a much clearer photo on your screen than the one I'm looking at ... ;)
-
Thank you Sylvia for giving us that link to David's cellar and the explanation of the window photo (I've seen it before but never heard the story about it). I'm always interested in what "areas" other people are doing their customizings (and as you can imagine I'm especially interested in workshops ;D) and also how the setup for certain sceneries looks like.
Regards
Jochen.
