I just wanted to share that my new Victorian bedroom set DID have a protective film on the mirror sticker. My small complaint, though, is that the sticker appears just a hair too big and I ended up with a small crease at the bottom trying to apply it. If not too big, at least the identical size to the spot it goes. Usually the stickers are a tiny bit smaller to allow for proper placement.

Anyway, beautiful set and I LOVE the color choices for the furniture. They will go well in a western bedroom scene too. The green rugs are a little more intense than in the catalog picture. Makes it all a bit garish in the attic room with pink rose wallpaper. But they’re beautifully printed.

Huh, so maybe there's supposed to be a protective film, but mine fell off somewhere in the manufacturing and packing process.

My mirror has a crease at the top.  ::)

I often put the kids in the attic because there's ample room for kid's room and nursery. This is easier with the extra floor though.

I like the print on the rugs, but you are right that it's a bit much with the pink wallpaper.

I have seen an actual (light!) yellow chamberpot, so I don't think the color choice is too insane. It's just a bad match for the lovely brown.

I too enjoy putting kids in the attic …..no reasons necessary … ;D

Oliver:
Mine arrived today, and the mirror did have the protective cover (which I didn't realise until after I'd stuck it down and then struggled to remove)

The rugs, while they're not on the canvas type material of the originals, they seem reasonably sturdy. I'd say they're the same as the rugs they make for the modern house sets. I tried to tear the off-cut piece and I couldn't.

Lovely set (of course) - and the figures are new to me, since I had the Yellow Bedroom set as a child.
