They seem to be great sets in the spirit of Playmobil which seems to be disappearing.
Couldn’t say it better, but I have hope. If the licensed product will sell, I hope they will pay more attention again to the “classic playmobil”, as what happened with Lego.
It took me 3 hours by train to get there, so I left the morning at 5:30 am.
Such dedication! But well worth it, those Roncalli Circus sets are lovely.
On the previous page, those darkbrown windows and doorframe 8-)
Which set do/did these come with?? :-[
The Western Farm has white ones, the Railway Station blue ones... I can´t think of a set where they are darkbrown... ???
(18 years of collecting...I must be getting dementia!)
No hat grey though, right?
Exactly tahra, it's from the Western Bank (DS version). I bought some to create a new Western building, but it will be for another diorama in the future. My table got to small unfortunately :wall:
Are you referring to the hat of the police officer?
No, the grey cap from Roncalli.. same as the baker's.. and a woman in figures.. something - but that one was green..
The new bank (6478)
I know all about that :-\
Part number (I guess) of the pilot’s hat; 33064002:
....
Part number (I guess, though I never saw one starting with 4....) of the sushi; 4301350 16:
These are mold numbers, not part numbers (which generally start 30 or 40). If only Geobra would print part numbers on the parts, life could be a lot easier (though several parts with different numbers can come from the same mold, since the part number also depends on the colour of plastic used and any printing applied).
Today I found series 14 in Belgium!
Congratulations :) Which brand of store?
How is the Nutcracker's mouth made? Is it printing on the chin and neck?? That would be a first I think.
It's not meant to be translated, it's lorem ipsum. :sherlock:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorem_ipsum
I also bought 4 more nutcrackers of series 14, I have a small army now of 18 nutcrackers...
... pictures will follow...
:o :picsplz:
Oh. Ok. ;D :P
Here you go ;D
You're replacing the heads?
I hate the head, actually. The mouth, I mean. And can't figure it out...
Well, I was about to, but it seems that those heads are really accurate:
I like that Nutcracker's head because it recreates in PM (within the limitations of the klicky) the traditional wooden nutcracker doll, like the one you showed us bml87.
I’m on my way to Cologne (Köln, Germany) to pay my first visit ever to a Playmobil Funstore! :woohoo:
Thank you for the report!
Such bad luck with the bus :( FOUR hours!? That's terrible!
I would very much like to get my hands on a few of those red cross klickys, but the sets are too huge for me :(
Love the purchases! And your customs! Those 3+1 sets are usually great to make armies...
You bought the woman with the grey skirt from ds parts? I want her too!
Usually the klickys aren't easy to order, right? I have.... issues with iberia.
We'll see. So far I didn't see those red cross ones in nembers (saw ONE, was outbid)... same with the dragnons ones :'( (which is a LOT more serious!)
I never had troubles with ordering klickies, so far all the klickies I ordered via DS, were delivered! Of course, you have to order the hats, bracelets, etc. ... separately, but I guess you know that :) .
I think the part numbers will be released soon, like I said, the sets are selling well (at least in Cologne).
Today my new DS parts order arrived! 5 new klickies in the family!!!
From left to right:
Klicky 30002242 (set 4072), first released in 2005 (!): http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30002242
(..)
That's a really nice one :)
Indeed! It was a complete guess! I’m surprised that a klicky of 2005 is still available! This opens opportunities!

That fourth one with the mask, does the belt come with it? I didn't realise they were still making that design of belt.

So, with this list I ordered 3 female klickies today: Mary Shelley, Marie Curie and Florence Nightingale. I will inform you if my research was right... :sherlock: I got the confirmation already that my order has been processed (= I will get klickies, how exciting). Normally it will arrive in one week... Note that the klickies will come without accessories (unfortunately)!
:o
That would be AMAZING - many thanks for sharing - and do let us know of the result - they will have an avalanche of orders :P
How long do we have to wait to get an answer?
Thank you! These are very exciting news!
That's great sleuthing, bml87! Fingers crossed!
bml87 (if I may call you that) thank you for being a true Playmosleuth! :sherlock: Very interesting method and if positive results are obtained I would be VERY interested in getting some of those klickies! :yup: Drives me up the wall how such a fantastic series is so difficult to obtain. :wall:
Strange that they really leave gaps in the numbering of the klickies! (Or they are just simply not allowed to send customers the parts of the Altaya collection, I wonder...)
I suspect the latter.
Well never mind, it was good sleuthing, even if the hoped-for result didn't happen!
Thanks for the effort, at least it fills in some blanks. Interesting that they're mostly tanned figures.
Good to know that the white kerchief is still available as it claims it isn't on the website. I was going to try for some anyway.
There are hundreds of fi?ures too which must have part numbers. Where are the holes in the sequences for them?
Yep, two new style sea turtles. A visit to your favorite animal theme Playmobil website would tell you all.
Great additions there! Interesting to see the stove back and with that dark colored wall.

Some parts arrived as well! I finally understand why that horse (http://animobil.info/text/3e258fc(animobil)-3544.html) is so expensive! It has these fuzzy spots, instead of being painted! I totally missed this on Animobil! I’ll order the colt (http://animobil.info/text/3e258fc(animobil)-3561.html) later.
Are those coffins on the right of your final picture?
I highly recommend the sticker sheet from 9312 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30%2080%203625) as well. It has great jar stickers for a wizard, witch or alchemist and the coffin lid sticker plus a nice bat that fits on the top of the rack of shelves. Also that shelf unit is in dark grey - a new color for an old part.
I had no idea either... though it's not very... playmobilish.
All very impressive and look forward to see more of your great collection
I viewed this entire tread and it has been quite helpful in greatly expanding my “have to have” list for our western and circus collection :wow: thank you Boris
Aha! A badge is all you need to become a hereditary leader! After killing the former one ;)
Interesting klickies.
You are writing fowl but mean foal. Fowl is used to describe birds - particularly as waterfowl - meaning ducks and geese and relatives.

Anyway, as always I make a selection of which figures I want and there’s always a chance I’ll buy more after the popular and useful reviews by tahra.
I changed the heads of course and the doubles I will use to create other klickies.
I bought the pirate captain (...)
But damn, that price!!!
Thank you. Expecting mine... I just finished the s15 review ::) :-[ I am slow.
I like most heads, but don't understand why they are all crosseyed.
Exceptions for Marla, who looks like she's REALLY drunk, and Dasher, who just looks like an idiot...
He is cool! I like it when they use these legs for early modern figures. The printed cuffs are also très chique, and the head is mighty fine.
Is the farmer printed on his back?
:o Is it the same elsewhere? I find the 2,99 € in Germany already hard to swallow ...
€ 3,99. I guess this is the price outside of Germany :'(
Thanks for showing them. I meanwhile bought mine on ebay, that is almost my only source since there are little or no toystores anymore in my area. Even the Fun one is now also gone. Just one Dreamland left, so everyone storms that shop and mostly the wanted figures are gone immediately. I usually don´t even bother anymore to go search for them there...
A high price for just a figure with no big accessories >:(
No problem, they still have stock of series 15
They all look really cartoonish, I guess you can make a really funny diorama with them, but I prefer to stay with the traditional faces.
None of the three figures I bought are printed on the back, unfortunately.
Were they cheaper on eBay? There’s still a Fun in Sint-Denijs-Westrem.
The Fun in S-D-W is too far off for me (I´m on the entire opposite side of the city), too hard to reach without a car and public transport to that place is a nightmare (like it is to most of the rest of the country).
I was in the new Fnac yesterday in the Veldstraat
to risk finding out that Fnac have sold all the figures to bml87 sounds too daunting.
The fates are against you, Hadoque! A 45-minute trip by Vespa braving traffic and poor air quality, only to risk finding out that Fnac have sold all the figures to bml87 sounds too daunting. Buy 'em on eBay and let the postal service take all the flack! :(
A really nice torso, which was available already with klicky 30000344 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-0344). Unfortunately the white of the torso (and the arms in the musician’s case) are not clean white, but shiny glittering white, so you can’t create white klickies with it. Unless there are sleeves in this colour, does anyone know?
you could fill up a town with those klickies. :o
We get to see them in a diorama soon...?
The ones with the clown/milka guy torso in #4 are great - that torso IS amazing for a variety of themes!
The men in shorts in #7 throw me off a bit... but I assume you know better than me! And love the milkmaid woman like that.
I think the hats in #17 and #23 could use some erasing, so as not to have equal markings.. Then again, one only notices this because they are side by side, right? :)
Love that woman on #24! Very creative, with the shoulder things and the jacket! Really really gorgeous!
I had never thought of the egyptian mother in #25 as fit for western - I stand corrected :)
And the women from the pirate torsos on #26 =
And... I envy you the woman on #32 - especially her grey skirt ;D
I will say it once more, it's thanks to you I saw the true purpose of this torso! For those who missed it, click here (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=8205.msg301058#msg301058).
I have to say I actually don't know if men in the Old West wore that type of shorts, on the other hand I see it more and more in Playmobil Western diorama's. Eventually I had two of those pants left since I used that very useful torso of the Lebkuchen baker ;) and I thought let's give it a try!
Indeed, even if one of the hats was "corrected" they look too similar to put next to each other. Somehow a missed opportunity of Playmobil. It's different with the 4 guys in picture 23, I see them as brothers that form a gang.
By the way, I'm still ordering unknown part numbers now and then :sherlock:
You might remember I ordered her via the DS (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16456.msg300716#msg300716), unfortunately I tried to order a second one recently and I got the reply that she is sold out :hissyfit:
24
(https://i.imgur.com/iYRifqw.jpg)
... how DID you ever find that again? :o
What I meant was not the hat in itself... I think it looks weird to have the same bullet holes and stitching on all of them... even if it was a uniform...
Yes, that klicky is all amazing (and he doesn't have THAT hair!)
24, second from the right is my favourite (very creative, very evocative) but they are all great. Thanks for showing these treasures!
Good that Mr. "Ronald Tramp" was not around in the 19th century, he might have build a wall around her so we would never get to see her.
I have done two Western diorama's already: North American desert (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16703) and Western Town II (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16762) (which was an update of an earlier version). I'm currently working on a third one: North American forest (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16978.0) and I know it takes long, my apologies! But like some of us, I am a perfectionist and I'm still waiting for some parts to arrive. I will post some pictures soon! Apart from that, I have a new idea for Western Town III! I will not set up the farm anymore (due the lack of space) and instead I will build some more Steck buildings to create a larger town, I guess most of the figures might fit in! :cowboy:
Wonderful variety of figures with some excellent customization ideas. Thanks for sharing them with us. I really need to get that Milka/Clown white shirt with the suspenders. It would be perfect for a second worker shoveling coal in the larger train engines.
Some nice customs in there 8-)
She could also function nicely as a Native from the Southern Americas (Peru, Bolivia, ...) from after the Conquista era.
From the others, my favourites are the ones that could also fit f.e. into the 17th/18th centuries (mostly the ones with the kneepants, the guy with "yelloworgange" high hat & short vest, and the woman dressed in grey)
I checked those out and woah, Western Town II left me speechless. The attention to detail in each and every shot is marvelous and the atmosphere feels so real. Can't wait to see how North American Forest and Western Town III turn out, too!
US policy towards Mexico and Mexicans was far more aggressive than anything "Tramp" has even suggested, from the 19th century basically until Reagan.
Then I'd advise you not to bring politics up in the first place, particularly topics you know little about.
What an amazing collection indeed
I am loving the yodel quartet, the New Orleans jazz band and the upper class couple !
I am also always "gobsmacked" to see how knowledgeable you Guys are when it comes to identifying the smallest accessory and its origin, I feel like such a novice compared to most of you, even after 10 years :P
My apologies for having stepped on (long) toes.
All this on the day impeachment inquiries into "Tramp" are launched. ;D
Are you still doubting my sleuthing-methods?!
With "corrected" I meant "erasing the holes" as well, so I follow your way of thinking in this! If I was good at drawing I would dare to draw some other Playmoish details on parts, unfortunately I am not gifted with drawing... 8}
By the way, for those who are like ??? and don't know what tahra means by that hair, here's an example: (...)
It's not that bad.....
Thanks, Tim! It seems that no one recognised the cameo of George R. R. Martin so far in that picture (n° 4).
Many of us are experienced customisers and I'm sure everyone has his own method of splitting a klicky. Today I would like to show you how I split my klickies
I use 3 things: a klicky (of course), a piece of an inner tube (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_tire#/media/File:Bicycle_tube.jpg) of a bicycle tire (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_tire) and pincers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pincers_(tool)):
Is there ANYONE who doesn't know that yet? My name for it is not fit for kindergarten.
Yeah, well.. I TRIED to do a mouth for that knight (who was the BRILLIANT MIND who thought he didn't need a mouth?! What a stupid, senseless thing to do :( ), but quit after several attempts.
The inner tube is an interesting solution. I've been using a strip of cloth wound multiple times around the head, but I'm tempted to give this a shot too. When I started customizing I would jam a knife in between the torso and the legs in a sitting position; though I wrapped the end of the knife with paper and adhesive tape, I ended up scratching a few legs, so I abandoned that method.
Well, I have to be honest that I'm still doubting about which site you mean with "THAT site", I guess it's Facebook? :-\
Are you talking about this knight (see picture)? Well, the good thing is, that his hair (according to the pictures) will be compatible with the head of Dr. Emmett Brown (Back to the Future)! Let the customising begin!
May I add that the colour of the torso of this knight is the same colour as the arms (and coat) of the black pirate named Bloodbones in the Movie Figures series! Too bad there's no print on the torso...
In the mean time I created some new customs. The first 4 from the left will make an appearance in a new Western diorama and the violinist will be a part of the Alpine theme:
Wow - love the first four - might copy the first guy, and the woman (if I have the torso in the poptubs) :)
LOVE the brownish one too (duh) - and great use for that pirate torso (that one I do believe I have only one, and he arrived not that long ago)
As to the violinist, I find the combination of torso + jacket a bit too bright... Though a nice match with the shorts and hat too!
Man, lots of great figures there. Standouts to me are the woman with the pink skirt and checked blouse, and the three wealthy guys. All are great though
Those are amazing! :wow:
Gorgeous klickys
I really like the green cowgirl!
Some great looking customs among your latest creations!
Every row is ripe with gorgeous klickies: I'm awe-struck!
Aesop's part number is unknown (I.e. not in PlaymoDB). If you check your invoice, it may be listed there. If so, why not send it to Heather to include in the DB (or just add it here)? By such mistakes, quite a few part numbers have been revealed in the past!
Great figures! Those Back to the Future advent figures are really useful for western theme.
Interesting about the klicky part numbers. May be an issue with the storage bins at the parts department sliding around or getting mixed together??
Thanks, Tim! And I agree, they are very useful! I was actually kinda lucky, because it was for a short time possible to order the two klickies of Dr. Emmett Brown via the website. I ordered two of each ;D . I guess this was a mistake of the web designer, because they took them offline ::)
Well, there's only one way to find out... It's to order one of the two unknown part numbers, according to Playmodb most part numbers are released in chronological order. That would mean that 30009474 is probably Aesop, which is a great figure! So I'll order that one in a next parts order.
What do you think the number of the kid of the Aesop set is? ;D
After a quick research following the same logic of my Aesop guess, the child could have part number 30105000 :sherlock:Thank you! I will try to order them and let you know :playmo:

Happened the same with Patroclus when the Greek sets first appeared on the website, but he was removed before I could bite. :(
Lovely customs all around! I keep going back to the trapper because he is just so spot on. The circus crew is gorgeous too!
(...) I was able to collect all the different colours of this hair type (except for Fred (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-6334)'s hair from Scooby Doo):

Good looking ones :)
Great looking figures! Would love to see the band's in action.
I like the update you did with the new legs on the klickies from the Romani Circus orchestra.
And the 'Western'-lady/girl on the right (in light-yellow + white) in the last pic.
It's charming that you managed to "give a fresh coat of paint" to retro klickies! Your circus is not going to be understaffed for sure, judging by the klickies you are showing.
They should do a whole Romani theme - might have to rename it though to avoid confusion with the Roman theme
Color me jealous! Have fun!
I understand your enthusiasm – big fan of the man's soundtracks. Have fun!
Although I like more the Romani circus...
But, I was more overwhelmed by the huge Playmobil store in the station of Breda: Happy Station!
To me, nothing beats the safety net on Romani. The tent is nice, but completely off if you want to play or see what's inside, so, Romani wins the circus battle for me, by FAR.
Wow, that shop is HUGE!!! :o
You could take off the tent of course, they should have made an optional tent for the Romani circus too, I think it would have been great! Nevertheless, Romani will always have a special place in my mind (too), since it was my first theme collection.
Yip! And fair prices! Only 1h30 from Amsterdam by train, definitely worth the trip!
Santa was early this year... I still can't believe this is happening, glad I was able to get the sets brand new!
